TOURS

S.M.A.R.T. has been giving tours since 1998. Over 1½ - 2 hours S.M.A.R.T. will take you through the entire facility and with the permission of our on-site artists, into their studios to experience current exhibitions, works in progress and finally a private viewing of the Benavides Collection. You will leave refreshed and inspired. All ages welcome, from pre-k to university to professional adults. 

 

 

ARCHIVABILITY WORKSHOP

Since 1998 S.M.A.R.T. has offered a professional development workshop to local university art students. For 3 hours on a Saturday morning, our hands on art handling workshop introduces framing materials, teaches art presentation and the science of archivability. Students are responsible for taking an unframed piece of their own from start to finish. Class size 8-10. Saturday morning 10 a.m. – 1:00 pm.
