S.M.A.R.T. provides the artist with a stipend, lodging and culminates with a formal exhibition of new work produced during the residency. During their stay with us, the artist uses the residency to push their boundaries utilizing their time for experimentation. Finally, as part of the residency requirement, the artist performs education outreach with our Briscoe Elementary students.
